PostHeaderIcon TSA Invading Privacy

tsaI rarely fly. I would rather spend two days in a car to drive somewhere, rather than submit myself to the hyper-invasive TSA security checks.

Here are a few points I should make.

  1. I have body piercings, as well as, multiple bone screws holding bits of my skeleton together. I will set off the cheapest metal detector money can buy, I also cannot have an MRI because of these things.
  2. I am an American, born and raised. Although I no longer enjoy living here, I have no desire to blow up other citizens of this nation. I don't want to blow up citizens of any other nation either.
  3. I carry a handgun when I travel, as does my wife. My Colt, Delta Elite 10MM packs quite a punch, and my wife's Ruger LCP .380 is an effective weapon as well. We both have Concealed Carry Permits from the state of Kentucky.
  4. When I say Gun Control, I am talking about being able to hit my target, repeatedly.

With those things taken as a given, I have to add that I am not ashamed of my body, however I do not routinely wander around with out a shirt on in public, I have some modesty. Personally I find it tacky, there is a time and place to be in public without a shirt. I have a certain level of dignity and demand that my privacy be respected.

The introduction of the new "Naked Body Scanners" used in airports essentially looks directly through your clothes, and generate a 3D representation of your body, accurate down to a fraction of a millimeter. Janet Napolitano recently stated on national television, that the body scanners do not store or transmit the images they take. This is an outright blatant lie, and I have a question that will prove she lied.

Here is my question Janet Napolitano: If these naked body scanners do not store or transmit these images, how then are they able to use those images as evidence at any point in the future?

You are an outright liar Janet Napolitano, and the Department of Homeland Security is a farce.

It is because of this stupidity I will no longer fly. If anyone, other than my wife, touches me in the manner these TSA agents are "patting-down" citizens of the United States, they will draw back a stump. And due to my concern for my privacy, my wife is the only one allowed to see me naked.

I'm curious who the perverts are that actually watch all the naked body scanners. It would have to be someone comfortable with looking at men, women and children naked. I don't have children, but if I did, I would certainly object to having them viewed naked, or touched for any reason.

Is there any wonder why I don't like living in amerika any more?
